After nearly 30 years in corporate leadership, Pepe found a new purpose through his involvement in his church’s prison ministry. Inspired by the resilience and determination of incarcerated individuals seeking a second chance, he founded ReIgniting Hope in 2021. This faith-based nonprofit empowers returning citizens with access to safe housing, trauma-informed counseling, and career opportunities by partnering with employers, churches, and local organizations.
